To say that Jenny Mills is a terror to work with is a slight bit of an overstatement, really. She doesn't play well with others, that much is true, but taking out the demons of the world is her thing. It's in her blood, blessed (or cursed) as a Witness, and are only ever two at most in the world a time. When you've got a calling, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Especially when you're the only one of your kind left.

The problem is, Abbie was clearly the more patient of the two sisters, and Abbie was now dead. Jenny is more than happy to go and kill a thing or exorcise a thing, or whatever needs doing, but she's certainly not much of a people person. She's especially not a people person when she drove six hours out of her way to help out a friend, only to find that he doesn't need her help anymore - or so he claims.

"I'm sorry. I thought you said there was something shady going on and you needed a Witness to come check it out. Those were your words, Jerry, you said 'Please help me out, Jenny, I need a Witness to take care of this.'"

"I did. Or I thought I did. But I called someone else instead."

Her lips purse for a moment, before she leans in and places her hand on the bar. "Who'd you call, Jerry?"

"I don't think that's important."

"Who did you call, Jerry?"

It's at that question that the bar suddenly goes dead silent, with the door having swung open and two sets of footsteps walking inside. Jerry's eyes widen, shock and surprise coloring his features, before an unfamiliar voice spoke:

"Was it something we said?"

Jenny starts to turn and Jerry grabs her wrist, keeping her focus on him. "Jen, don't."

"Jen don't what?" she replies obstinately, before starting to turn in the direction of the sound.
