[It's a good thing he loves her; she could even ambush him into wearing one of those ugly Christmas sweaters and he wouldn't even bat an eye.

Just because he can, he'll lean in and lightly press his lips against hers.]

Do you want the black coat or the grey?

[She hums into the kiss, because she does love boyfriend kisses, but she is giving his question serious contemplation. It's a very important question, as she will have to look at him in it.]

Black. Definitely black.

[It is the most important question, okay, as he's regarding her with the utmost seriousness. As if his very existence depends on her answer.]

You got it. [He laughs, trying so desperately hard to not look as amused as he is.] Any other important requests?

[She shakes her head.]

Nope. Just you and that coat and Christmas.

Mm, that I can do.

[He laughs again as he goes in for another kiss. Stefan doesn't know what the future holds for them, let alone that this might be their last Christmas together - but Elena feels like home, and there's really nowhere else he'd rather be.]

[Elena feels the same way, and tries not to think of the future, but it's hard not to when you're a teenage girl with an immortal boyfriend. The future, for the first time in a long time, feels like an unyielding, ever-growing thing, and she wants to explore as much of that as she can with him.

She returns the kiss deeply before pulling back with a smile.]

Good. I love you.

[He even gently nudges them back towards his bed, just because he can. Patience? What's that??]
