OKAY. My tags are low which naturally means I should be doing open RP things for all the world. Therefore! TAG IN. You can either request a character and/or a type of scene, or tell me to surprise you (surprises will most likely end in crack), and I will lob people in your direction. If you want a specific verse to go with that person, specify.

I'm easy. Just tell me what you want to play and we will play it.

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

[Elena was sitting on her porch. She's not annoyed, or upset, but being late is a very un-Matt-like thing to do.]

Everything okay?

[ Matt's slightly out of breath when he reaches the steps to the Casa de Gilbert. The smile he gives her is apologetic, if not charming. ]

Would it help if I said it's a surprise?

[ Okay, so it's not a surprise he's late, but he was late because of a surprise. He has his moments. ]

[and now she's curious. She pushes up to her feet and makes her way closer]

Depends on what kind of surprise.

[ A smile makes his way to his lips. Matt isn't naturally into making these kinds of gestures, but it's Elena. It does come naturally with her. ]

If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise. You trust me?

[his smile makes her smile, and she just nods]

Of course I do.

[ He stretches his hand out once she's answered, smiling back at her as he tries to look as tempting as possible. ]

So. You coming or what?

[grins as she takes his hand]

[ Matt's grin widens at the sight of hers, tugging her by the hand until they've reached his truck. He opens the door for her, before he makes an exaggerated bow. ]

[her grin widens and she climbs into the car.]

You're very welcome, Ms. Gilbert. [ He always loves seeing her smile. He's quick to move back to his side of the truck and step right on in. ]

Felt like we could use the break, you know?

[ Get away for the day, and hang out like they used to. While it's more for Elena's sake than his, Matt always loves spending time with her. That's always been true, right from the sandbox, and while they can't go back to how it all was, they can still revisit those days ever so often.

[Elena is definitely up for a break. Her smile widens a bit at the suggestion, and she nods.]

I am all for that. What kind of break did you have in mind?

I thought putting a bit of distance between us and Mystic Falls would be a good idea. [ Before she gets concerned, Matt adds: ] Just for the day.

You hungry?

I think that sounds like a great idea.

Good thing I got that covered. [ Matt casts a glance her way, a smile on his face. ] And I do remember all the things you like.
