OKAY. My tags are low which naturally means I should be doing open RP things for all the world. Therefore! TAG IN. You can either request a character and/or a type of scene, or tell me to surprise you (surprises will most likely end in crack), and I will lob people in your direction. If you want a specific verse to go with that person, specify.

I'm easy. Just tell me what you want to play and we will play it.

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

[he looks like Angel, a little. It's in his eyes and his forehead -- he's got a smaller build, but there's no denying that this kid is Angel's son]

You're the one on my doorstep. Shouldn't you ... I don't know. Know? [ it's wary, because he's got a hundred reasons to be wary, but he relents. ] Yeah. That's me. Who are you?

[she doesn't blame him for being wary, but given that they've never actually met, it's a valid question to ask.]

I'm Buffy.

[she needs to see if that means anything to him first. If it does, then they're in business. If not, she's sorry for bothering him.]

Oh. [ there's a look of recognition. he scrutinizes her a little, even. ] So, you're ... [ the only reason he can think she'd be here--] Is it my dad? [ had something happened? was he evil? she was a slayer, right. that had to be the only reason she'd--or maybe he'd gotten dusted. ]

There was some kind of spell. It backfired, and since his blood was used to bind it, we need his blood to reverse it.

[which means they need Connor's blood.]

He's in some kind of ... mystical coma.

And my blood can bring him out of it. [ he glances over his shoulder as he hears his parents questioning who's at the door. he doesn't answer, just looks back to buffy. ] Where is he? The Hyperion?

They've got him holed up in one of the rooms. If we head back now, I can have you back before curfew.

[superbeing]

[ connor gives a slow nod, then turns to call over his shoulder. ]

I'm going out! Back later tonight, I'll take my phone. [ he grabbed his jacket off the rack, checking the pocket for his phone and keys, then heads out with buffy and slips his arms into it. as he locks the door behind him, he asks her. ] Let me guess. Drusilla didn't count? [ he's heard about her. from cordelia. from spike. she wouldn't be here if it wasn't her last resort, he figures. ]

Dru? No. If it were, we could have used Spike.

You'd think these mystical things would at least take mystical offspring for their rituals.

Then the ones that trap the vampires who are actually evil would be pretty easy to break.

Point taken. [ he tucks his hands in his pockets, heading out with her. he shoots surreptitious glances her way every so often. ] You've done this a while, huh?

[there's a slow sigh as she nods, opening the back door to the SUV to slide in. She has a driver now -- one of the Slayers volunteered to come along.

It's better for everyone if Buffy doesn't drive.]

Longer than I'd like, but at the same time, longer is good. Means I'm still alive.

[ connor spares a glance at the driver's seat before sliding in the other side, looking not exactly uncomfortable but rather unused to some stranger driving. buffy felt less like a stranger than this other slayer did. ]

You make it sound like you're just counting down days til you're not.

[Buffy settles into the seat and shrugs]

Some days that's what it feels like.

[usually the days when things come down to Angel getting himself in some kind of trouble]

Not exactly like I get to retire.

Why not? There's tons of Slayers now. [ a beat. ] And Faith. [ it was weird. he'd heard about buffy, and had an idea of what to expect, but it didn't change the fact that since she was the first he'd met, faith was The Slayer in his mind. ]

Yeah, but they all still need to be trained. There aren't enough Watchers now to do the job. It's an ... all hands on deck kind of situation. And since I'm the reason why they exist, I can't just check out and tell them to deal with it themselves.

[she's just ... tired. She could do with being a little less tired.]

Sure, so train the ones who you are responsible for, and then ... let them train the rest. [ connor shrugs. it doesn't seem impossible to him. except he gets the feeling of responsibility. he does. and he knows it's not that simple, that she won't do it. when it's your mess, you have no choice but to see it through yourself. ]

[Buffy's eyes stay trained out the window, and she nods]

It's true. But it still takes time.
