I don't know about the factions, but I know that the peace is pretty tentative. It goes all the way back to the Great Fae Wars.

That sounds very sweeping and epic.

[Expertly, she pretends to take a sip of scotch.]

What happened?

The Light and the Dark were constantly fighting about which side was better. It seemed like a natural conflict, but it was actually being instigated by something called the Garuda that fed off our anger and rage. When the Blood King wrote the laws of the Fae in his blood, he ended the war and with that, the Garuda was starved into extinction.

That Blood King sounds kinda awesome.

And, you know, horrifying.

[She smirks a bit.]

He is, a little of both.

Lots of things are.

[Like Artemis. Or roller coasters. Or trying a new position.

And Diana suddenly finds herself a little distracted by Bo's exceedingly long eyelashes.]

[She does have those. And she will totally bat them at her if she gives her reason to.]

I guess that's part of what makes the world great.

I don't meet a lot of people who think that.

Most of them think the world is shit.

[She inches a little bit closer.]

Maybe parts of it are. But some things about it are really, very beautiful.

[Bo smiles a bit at that, as she makes her way closer.]

I definitely agree with you there.

[Bo gets a less-than-subtle once over.]

I suspect you would.

I have an ... eye for beauty.

[One hand comes up to brush her hair behind her ear.]

I like to appreciate it in all forms.

[She gives a bit of a shrug.]

Everything's beautiful in it's own way. It's just a matter of finding it.

[and with that, she'll take that next step in to kiss her.]

[Diana's only too happy to kiss back. And, after a good century of practice, she gives one helluva kiss.]

[Bo does love it when people know how to kiss. Her hand slides down to Diana's cheek, fingers curling against the back of her neck to pull her closer.]

[Leaning in on the kiss, Diana makes a soft, delighted noise in the back of her throat.

She has no chi. Largely because she's dead. But she's projecting a certain measure of desire in other ways. Namely her fingers playing with the tips of Bo's hair.]

[ Bo wasn't looking to feed actually - she's past the point where she has to whenever she kisses someone. She slowly leans in closer, one hand moving to slide her fingers through her hair. ]

Mmm.

[Bo's almost as good a kissers as she is. Which makes her grin.

And then giggle.]

[ She grins a bit at that, before leaning in closer and pushing her back towards one of the walls. ]

[Oh, that's how they're going to play it?

Well then.

Diana leans against the wall, stretching her arms up over her head. Ever the self-styled Bond girl. She gives Bo a bit of a grin from under half-lidded eyes.]

[Bo grins back, her lips leaning in to kiss her neck and slowly make her way lower.]

[Diana leans her head back, exposing her throat.

Not a smart move for a vampire, but it feels good.]

[Bo is personally of the opinion that you should always do what feels good. And she's going to follow those signals, dropping soft kisses against her neck.]
