Stefan's really annoyed. Also really cold.
Not that he isn't horrified by all of this, but when you're a vampire, it's all relative. Stefan can't die from drowning and he tried to help where he could, but at the end of the day, you can't save everyone, and that's a lesson that Stefan is learning the hard way.
All the same, there are little things he can do.
He catches her hand just before it goes under, and he's in the water shortly after. He can feel the way the ice cuts into his skin as he goes under, but that doesn't really matter much to him. He heals just as he always does, and it isn't long before he's catching an arm around her waist and dragging her back to the surface and into the boat of people.
He grabs a blanket, wrapping it around her shoulders and pulling her in close. "Miss? Miss can you hear me?"
surprise me?
occasionalpreferences. the only reason she's actually putting words here at all, in fact, is because she feels like she should mention a few things for reference, where ever this ends up going][such as the fact that, I'seth looks relatively human at a distance. if you get close, though, there are a few things that are hard to miss. the slitted eyes, for one. the pattern of black scales that starts just above her right eye, along her hairline, and trails down her neck before disappearing under her armor, for another. the claws her fingers and toes end in, the latter just as obvious as the former, if only because she's not big into footwear, her feet wrapped tightly in dark green cloth, but open-toed and heeled, and that's about it. the tail's also a little hard to miss, wrapped in more black scales and leather banding, behind her]
[ ... yep. there you go. have fun]
there's no reason we can't pregame. also if i'm presuming too much let me know
While she doesn't choose those who don't already owe her for missions all that often, but after seeing I'seth perform in the games she has to see the woman in action for herself. It's just the two of them, as Hippolyta prefers to do most of her work on her own, and they have nothing but a walking stick and some ointment.
Never let it be said that even the demigods didn't know how to have fun.
"It's just past this ridge. Shouldn't be too much further."
You're fine. :)
"Good." Not that she's complaining, she doesn't mind the trek -- she does a lot of traveling by foot, back home, too -- she's just looking forward to getting on with whatever they're supposed to be doing out here. "What's the plan once we get there?"
She's a tactician, back home; she's very big on plans.
she may get another one later, but he doesn't have a journal yet

Angela Petrellithe Man, and reclaim it for the actual betterment of powered people everywhere. For the most part, it's working. There are checks. And balances. And rules that people actually follow. As the narration previously stated, it's a magical place. And in this magical place, Elle and Claire become a badass agent team, tracking powered people and helping to bring them in, showing them that there's a better way than going nuclear and almost destroying the world. (Or zapping them if they refuse to behave - Elle's power comes in handy in times of self-defense. Occasionally that person is Claire, but no partnership is perfect, and it's not like she can feel it.)
Today, their crazy agent adventures have taken them to a place that neither of them expected:
The Bronx Zoo.
Claire frowns up at the sign for a moment, before glancing back at her. "Are you sure this is right?"
The narration apologizes now for the total lack of seriousness in this thread starter.

Look, Bob Bishop may be dead but Elle still had a little clout to her name and that translated to having some say in the missions they were handed. Anyone who believed they were random was a moron.
She glances down at her watch, feeling a moment of disquiet. It wasn't broken. "Hurry up!" Her steps pick up a bit as she heads, unerringly, toward the penguin enclosure. It's almost feeding time.

While the reasons why rifts happen to suck are many and probably are far to expansive for this particular commentary there are several that are coming to mind after the end of the world, and they are listed as follows:
One, when he jumped through the big ominous rift at the end of the world with his pack, he expected to land in the same place with his pack. Not down the actual rabbit hole to land in the realm of smoking caterpillars and a large talking cat that the canine in him strongly dislikes.
Two, it did not need to mess with his natural werewolf abilities. He was happy with his second snake form. It did not need to change it into a dachshund of all things.
Though, if he is to be completely honest with himself, this is much much better for his cute factor than his previous second form. All the same, it's just weird.
Three, while he appreciates cluing him into this change in events so early on in his arrival in Wonderland, as well as the fact that he seemed to find a rather pretty companion who picked him up simply because he's cute, it could have picked a much more opportune moment to turn him back into a person again.
Especially if there was an option where clothing was available.
So sorry, Alice. Have a very tall, very naked werewolf who was formerly a dachshund and really does still want to be your friend.
"Hi." He smiles. "I can explain."

Briefly, her mouth curves down into a pout because she had liked that sweet little puppy. As her eyes drift up (and up and up, Alice is short and he is giant in comparison) the pout shifts into something resembling a smile. Or a smirk. It's hard to tell when the expressions are so similar.
For the sake of propriety, of which Alice has very little, she shrugs out of her long burgundy and black jacket -- a cast off relic of the Hatter, so much more intricate and elaborately detailed than her simple blue dress -- and holds it out for him to take and attempt to cover up some of his more... private bits.
"Haven't you realized yet, love. We're in Wonderland. No explanations required."

Probably not for the reasons you're thinking.
See, the problem with bars not putting big, neon, "NO WANDERER ALLOWED" signs on their front door, is that when a Wanderer sympathizer (though it's a really like Wanderer apathetic, Alexander doesn't particularly care one way or another) and his Wanderer friend walk in, looking for a drink and find big heaping glasses of animosity instead. Alexander doesn't really do well with animosity.
Probably why he's sporting the black eye he is right now. At least the cops were nice enough to get him an ice pack.
He leans back against the wall with a groan, trying not to focus too much on how he hurts. That will heal up soon enough. He takes a breath, and then glances over to Billie. "You okay?"

Probably a phrase that Deeks hears frequently from his partner, but never quite in this context. Mostly because he's never been known to shove a game console controller in her hand, sit her down on his couch and tell her that they're going to defeat the Evil Hand of Kensi-Doesn't-Care. Kensi doesn't do video games. Kensi understands that she's his only option as his normal partner bailed on him in favor of having a life, but what is Kensi not doing right now?
That's right. Caring.
She makes a face at him as she turns to face him again. "What makes you think I can actually help you with this?"

Jane probably could have made them herself, but, well, her cooking skills don't really extend beyond the frozen kind, and given that Thor is here and not going back to Asgard and they could actually go out and do things. She's hesitant to call them dates, because he's been here for all of a day, and she doesn't know what his being here actually means yet, but she's trying not to dwell. Or needle. Or ... only stare at him with a stupid grin on her face because none of those things are really conducive to actually getting those answers.
"So. You're here." An example of the sparkling conversation over their breakfast this morning. The stupid grin is still there as she pours syrup over her plate with one hand, and reaches out to poke one strong arm across the table from her with the other. "Actually ... here."

Surprise me? Someone she can flirt with?
lady flirting okay? if not i can give her someone else.
She's had it with her days of being in over her head with regards to Fae shenanigans. She wants to actually feel like she's part of their society and while that learning curve is getting smaller and smaller as time goes by, today is a day that's particularly exacerbated how large that gap really is.
So for right now, she's taking a break. She's kicking back with a drink, she's going to find someone pretty to flirt with, and that is going to be that.
She jingles her glass for the bartender - Trick is taking the day off - and gives him her best smile.]
What does a girl have to do to get a refill around here?

Stefan stands off to the side, watching Bonnie work and keeping his eyes up on the sky as he does.]
Are you sure you can do this?
[For the record, that's worry in his tone, not doubt.]
<3
<33333 i'm making this chicago because i can.
Or you rocket through a rift without even realizing it.
Either way, Lois Lane, stalwart reporter for After the End Times is wandering through Grant Park, when she suddenly comes across a rather large divot. And at the end of that divot rests a man in a blue uniform of sorts and a red cape. Lois is highly speculative of this new arrival - honestly, where did he ever get a look like that - but as a fellow Wanderer and reporter, she finds the need to at least see if the guy is alive.
She takes a few tentative steps forward, before crouching down next to him, and pushing her hand against his chest. "Alright big guy. Up an at 'em."
Surprise me!
