I really wanted shippy things and didn't feel like combing through memes. So I made a post! Comment to this post with your characters, who you want and an option from the list below, and I will start a thread. Shenanigans will ensue.

Muselist is HERE and it's not completely updated, but I'm going to try and do that tonight. You may select SURPRISE for what character you want, but if you do it will likely be a crossover ship of my choosing. I don't really do M/M slash, but M/F and F/F are both fair game. Annnnnnnd that's it.

[Wolfram and Hart sent them on a trip out of town to investigate a case that Angel wanted to pursue. It involves a very lengthy stay in one of their European branches, and while Wes has seen most of Europe before - the benefit of living in it for so long - he has a feeling that Fred hasn't. So the takes the opportunity to give her the grand tour of Paris when they have a free weekend to themselves.]

Is there anything you'd like to see next?

[It's a thrill to be able to travel like this. Usually there's enough going on in LA let alone their continent. But Fred is taking in as much as this as physically possible, and the day break to be able to see Paris is even more of a thrill. She has her nose buried in a tour guide book, many of the pages dog eared so she can remember all the places. Even if there's a light mist falling on them, nothing can squash her good mood.]

Crepes. And then maybe the underground city? [Because there is no place in the world that makes crepes like Parisians do, and maybe she has been working with Angel a little too long, but the idea of the city that is buried below is fascinating to her. To imagine how many times this city has evolved and just how many people have walked on the cobblestones she's walking on is a concept that is truly only felt in Europe. And Fred is soaking it all in.]

[He nods with a small smile, completely willing to go along with her plan. It is her first time, after all. They should do what she wants to do.]

That sounds perfect. I believe I know just the place.

[Her hand slips into his then, head dipping to smile. This is probably the best date she's ever been on, and her constant smile shows it.]

Lead the way then.

[And lead the way he does, down to a small little cafe that serves crepes just off one of the main roads. They get a table outside, and Wesley leans back as he looks over the square.]

It really lovely here.

[After ordering her own crepe, she sits across from him and picks at the pastry. It's filled with nutella and berries, something sweet. Popping a berry into her mouth, she smiles back at him.]

I'm glad we got a day out. [They hardly get a day to themselves back home, but if they're going to fly across the globe, might as well get time to see the sights.]

What's your favorite thing to do here?

[Especially when one of them hasn't seen it before. You never know when the opportunity will present itself, one way or another.]

The museums, personally. I love to just sit back and enjoy the art.

[Somehow that doesn't surprise her. She takes another bite of the crepe before replying.]

Do you have a favorite? Or one we could see in a day?

[He pauses for a moment, considering.]

There are a few options, yes. It would depend on what you would like to see more - art or history?

Mmm-- [She thinks.] History might be more interesting. Not that I don't like art, but I think I'd like to see tangible things.

History it is. There's one not too far from here, actually.

Great. Let's go. [Even if half the crepe is still in her hand. It's fine. She can walk and eat.]

[Alrighty then. He pays the check and then off they go to museum. And since the narration has never been to France let alone French museums we're just going to do a lovely little time skip over all this museum-ing. There was history. It was lovely. But now it's evening and they're walking arm and arm on the way back to their hotel.]

So how have you enjoyed your day in Paris?

[and such a shame it is that she only gets a day.]

[It's interesting to be in a place that has existed for centuries. Fred has taken a few history courses in college, but actually seeing this place and getting into all the finite details is really interesting, but then she's a person who can get lost in the details.]

I had a great day. I had some amazing food, learned some things, and it was all made better by being with the man I love. Who could ask for more?

[He can't help but smile at the qualifier that applied to him, hearing that Fred loves him after pining for her for so long, but he doesn't let his thoughts wander too far, wanting to stay in the moment.]

I couldn't agree more.
