I really wanted shippy things and didn't feel like combing through memes. So I made a post! Comment to this post with your characters, who you want and an option from the list below, and I will start a thread. Shenanigans will ensue.

IF YOU CHOOSE SURPRISE ME, it will probably be crack. Because I'm in that sort of mood.

Muselist is HERE and it's not completely updated, but I'm going to try and do that tonight. You may select SURPRISE for what character you want, but if you do it will likely be a crossover ship of my choosing. I don't really do M/M slash, but M/F and F/F are both fair game. Annnnnnnd that's it.

Sometimes, the rift's tendency to make things literal is a bit ... disturbing.

Case in point: Charlie Wellman is currently covered in maple syrup. Incredibly covered. As in head to toe, irrevocably, deliciously covered in maple syrup. It tends to be what happens when you find yourself dropped through a rabbit hole, into a lake of it. It's sticky and sweet and a little dangerous considering syrup doesn't really run off you the way water does and if they suddenly started drowning then they're really in trouble. You can cough up water. What do you do if your lungs get filled with syrup?

Thankfully, this pool of syrup is rather shallow and while it's hard to move through, he can easily stand and not have it be over his head. Granted, he is considerably taller than his companion, but with a firm arm he can help keep her above the surface of the syrup.

Syrup.

He glances to Lena after a moment, keeping one arm around her waist to keep her steady, before squinting at the shoreline.

"Are those waffle trees?"

Lena squints as she leans against Charlie for support, trying to make out if those are really waffles up on the trees instead of leaves. Lena Austen isn't like most people. While most would be worried about where they are and the possibility of drowning, Lena has her priorities in order.

"Wait. Does this mean I win our argument?"

Clearly, if they are stuck in a land with waffle trees as opposed to pancake trees, it must mean waffles are superior.

She sounds ridiculously pleased for someone that's covered in maple syrup.

Charlie glances over at her, eyebrows raised in a "really?" expression before starting to drag them towards the shore. It's slow going because traveling through a sea of maple syrup is different than traveling through water - there's a lot more resistance - but for the most part they're moving at a pretty good clip.

"We haven't established anything yet. And personally I don't think the rift should get a say."
