I really wanted shippy things and didn't feel like combing through memes. So I made a post! Comment to this post with your characters, who you want and an option from the list below, and I will start a thread. Shenanigans will ensue.

IF YOU CHOOSE SURPRISE ME, it will probably be crack. Because I'm in that sort of mood.

Muselist is HERE and it's not completely updated, but I'm going to try and do that tonight. You may select SURPRISE for what character you want, but if you do it will likely be a crossover ship of my choosing. I don't really do M/M slash, but M/F and F/F are both fair game. Annnnnnnd that's it.

Lilah nods, pushing herself off the wall. She sways a little.

"On second thought, the walking bit I might need some help with."

Tess moves in closer, draping one arm of her shoulders so that she could take most of Lilah's weight. "It's okay. Just lean on me."

"Thanks." It comes out rough and foreign -- Lilah's not used to being grateful to anyone, it doesn't suit her really. But she does like staying alive and she's not going to manage that well without Tess' help right now.

Thankfully, Tess cares enough about Lilah to not call her out on it - at least not right now. She just takes the gratitude for what it is and waits until they're back on the surface, safely in the back of her car.

"We need to get you to a hospital."

[succubitch]

"I don't think hospitals are going to be much help right now."

Considering what a panic LA is in and all.

"We'll find something." She's the head of LuthorCorp. If that doesn't get her to the top of any list, she doesn't know what does. And there's always the option of getting them airlifted to San Diego or one of the other major cities outside LA's radius. "Just hang on."

[succubitch]

"Believe me, I don't plan on letting go." It might not be easy to find something but Lilah is a survivor, she'll fight until she can't anymore.

"Good."

And with that they start driving, heading towards the nearest hospital that is open for business. Getting out of LA involved a number of hairpin turns but the name "Luthor" carries a lot of weight and well - so does Tess shoving a gun in people's faces. Eventually they find a private facility that Tess can buy her way into, and Tess waits in the waiting area for Lilah to be out of surgery.

Lilah is surprised they manage to get in anywhere -- but Luthor has even more power as a name than Wolfram and Hart does. Eventually Lilah is let out of surgery and taken back to a room to rest -- whether she wants to or not.

One of the nurses will come out to tell Tess she can go see her.

Tess nods before making her way back into the hospital room, looking over the various medical equipment as she does. For the most part Lilah seems stable, so she'll just make her way over to the chair by the bed and stay there until Lilah wakes up.

Eventually, Lilah's eyes flutter open and though there's a throbbing pain from her wound she'll survive. Which is what's important.

"I hope you got a number for that truck that ran me over."

[howruthless]

"Nah, but I think I got a good look at the guy." She smirks a bit as she makes her way closer, moving to stand next to her bedside. "About seven feet tall. Giant horns. Possibly turned out the sun?"

"That description does ring a bell," She comments wryly. Which mans she'll survive -- it's when she looses that gallows humor of hers that they have to worry.

Tess nods a bit, before moving to slump a little more in the seat next to her. "As much as I want to respect your choices, there's a very large part of me that just wants to air lift you to Metropolis once you're stable enough to move." She won't. Not if that isn't what Lilah wants. But she wants to.

"Honestly? At this point the idea doesn't sound bad." Lilah's not a runner normally, but she also wants to live and if she stays in LA with the Beast loose and the sun blocked out?

She's the only person at this branch of Wolfram and Hart still alive. She'd live to keep it that way. Besides, they probably have a branch in Metropolis she can touch base with.

Tess is relieved when she agrees with her. She was prepared to have to put up more of a fight, and she's grateful she doesn't have to. "I'll have a chopper on standby. Hopefully we'll be out of here very soon."

A few days at most - Tess won't wait any longer than that, but she also knows that Lilah just had surgery and there's some things she shouldn't rush.

Lilah is all for fighting but right now? If she stays in LA she's going to die. And she doesn't want to die. Survival comes first, everything else can wait.

"Good. We can figure out what to do from there."

She can get in contact with some of the other Wolfram and Hart functions.

She nods again in acknowledgement, before getting to her feet. "I'll go talk to her doctors. For right now, you rest." And there was no room for argument in her tone. Hopefully by the time she wakes, they will be safe and sound in Metropolis.

Lilah nods. and with that she settles down to go back to sleep. They'll figure out the rest later.
