Muselist is HERE and it's not completely updated, but I'm going to try and do that tonight. You may select SURPRISE for what character you want, but if you do it will likely be a crossover ship of my choosing. I don't really do M/M slash, but M/F and F/F are both fair game. Annnnnnnd that's it.

[Allison blinks at his question. It's not as if she hasn't thought about it, but it seems that both of them had been at the same level of comfortable with not calling it anything. She'd had a pretty bad track record with relationships once they were considered relationships and maybe that had been why she'd kept the terms away from this one.

She starts and stops a reply a few times before she glances to her foothold and then back to him.]

Would it be an issue if it wasn't? [She knows that's not the right way to phrase that at all, but she can't help but focus on the situation in reverse.]

[He shakes his head very quickly. Nope, no, not a problem at all.]

No. No, it's fine, I'm just ... I don't know.

[He shifts his eyes away from her for a moment. How is he always so bad at girls. He likes girls a lot, he shouldn't suck so much at this.]

Forget I said anything.

[She blinks for a moment, then smiles.]

Maybe I won't forget you said anything. I just -- the last few relationships I've had, they weren't exactly the best examples of what to do.

[His eyebrows raise a bit before he huffs a laugh.]

Two of my last three girlfriends have been vampires, and my first girlfriend left me, and then started dating a vampire. I don't think any relationship I've ever had has been what you should do.

[So ... he's not really one to judge. At all.]

[Allison ducks her head quickly, glancing up at him with an amused smile.] Okay, so maybe we both have rough tracks behind us.

[Standing up a bit straighter, she looks at Matt again.]

Do you want this to be us dating?

[He takes a breath as he considers that for a moment. Does he? Whatever they have now has been kinda nice, whether it's dating or not, and he isn't sure he wants that to really change. But at the same time, more could be pretty nice too.]

Maybe. I never really know what I want on a good day, but I like this. I like us, whatever it is.

[He swallows a bit.]

So if you want more than that, I'd be okay with it. But if this is all it's going to be, I'm cool with that too. I just want to know where the line is.

[Allison can't disagree with him. She likes whatever they are too, but she's been too cautious to actually think of it as being anything -- let along something.]

I don't know what I want this to be, but I do like this too. [Her head cants to the side.]

Can we just... keep going at it like this and whenever we get to a spot that feels too far over the line we just say something?

[At least she's not ending things for him pushing. That's definitely a plus. He gives her a small smile before nodding in agreement.]

Yeah. That sounds good.

Good. [Allison tucks her hair behind her ear and then takes a slight chance and leans in and kisses Matt. It's definitely not what she had thought about doing when he had first asked her, but she feels like it's worth trying.]

[Matt is so not complaining. At all. Not even a little bit. And to be honest the kiss takes him a bit by surprise as well - which, if his balance were not better would be a bit concerning but thankfully he manages to keep himself in the tree they're sitting in, but he'll happily kiss her back. Kissing is much better than awkward wondering if he should.]

[Allison is really glad that he didn't back away or stop. Not that she thought he would. He'd been the one asking questions, but she just knew that even if she didn't want to define this, she at least wanted to see if there ha the potential to be anything.

Obviously, there's potential.]

[Lots of potential. Matt thinks there's loads of potential here, and being the teenage boy that he is, is more than happy to keep kissing her. In fact, he's going to forget all about being up in a tree until his foot slips a bit against the branch and he has to scramble a bit to make sure he doesn't fall a very, very long way.]

Maybe we shouldn't be doing this in a tree.
