I really wanted shippy things and didn't feel like combing through memes. So I made a post! Comment to this post with your characters, who you want and an option from the list below, and I will start a thread. Shenanigans will ensue.

IF YOU CHOOSE SURPRISE ME, it will probably be crack. Because I'm in that sort of mood.

Muselist is HERE and it's not completely updated, but I'm going to try and do that tonight. You may select SURPRISE for what character you want, but if you do it will likely be a crossover ship of my choosing. I don't really do M/M slash, but M/F and F/F are both fair game. Annnnnnnd that's it.

"They don't. It's a real shame." Rebekah has seen the way art has evolved since then, not all of it has been improvements.

"That it is." She pauses, eyeing the other woman for a moment, before turning and extending a hand to her. "Sophie Devereaux."

"Rebekah Mikaelson." She shakes the other woman's hand. "Do you have relatives in New Orleans?"

She shakes her head, waving her hand a bit. "Oh, no. I just love the city. They don't make them like New Orleans anymore."

"I knew a Sophie-Anne Deveraux there, is all. I thought perhaps there was a relation."

Or something to be concerned about, what with all the witches that been body jumping and coming back from the dead these days.

That would be much more interesting ... if Sophie Devereaux was actually her real name. As it stands, it's mostly a funny coincidence, but still amusing nonetheless. "Unfortunately, no. Just an odd coincidence, I suppose."

"I suppose so." Rebekah just had to be certain, considering the way her life often works.

Sophie glances back to her, appraising her for a moment. "Hopefully the association wasn't unfavorable. I would hate to lose a new friend over an unfortunate coincidence such as that."

Rebekah shakes her head a little. "Not particularly. I liked her well enough."

She nods a bit. "That is a comfort." She will make a note to not go by Sophie Devereaux the next time she's in the Quarter, however. Just in case. "There are so few people who understand art these days. I would have hated to alienate one of them."

It's probably a good precaution to take, all things considered. "As would I. We do seem to be few and far between."

"If you're going to be in town for some time, perhaps we could have coffee. I would love to pick your brain some more - about the arts, of course."
