[Haven is a magnet for weird. That much Kenzi and Bo have established in their very brief visit there. Just from the reports that were given to them by their client have them on their guard in so many different ways, but they're pretty much convinced something Fae is behind it. They just need to figure out what.

Naturally, the best place to get information is a bar.

So these two ladies saunter their way in to chat with some locals and ... probably make ample use of Bo's cleavage, but eventually Kenzi will wander off with shots to "work the crowd" while Bo is left alone with the bartender at his bar that is decked out for the holidays.]

I gotta say, this place was not what I was expecting.

[Haven is a fountain for weird. It's literally flowing through people's veins along with their blood. If someone is in the market for weird, they'll find plenty of it here hidden in reports of gas leaks downtown and wrapped around "tall tales" of troubles the town has had off and on for decades.

Duke took notice of the two women immediately. It's not just that they're both extremely attractive, but the way they sauntered in, well... they're clearly not locals. Duke smirks as he leans against the other side of the bar, tilting his head to the side curiously as he rests his elbows there.

There's already something flirty about that little smirk on his face.]

I dunno. But the stories I've heard about Haven? Probably a lot more bomb shelters and a lot less cutesy tourist traps.

What kinds of stories? Sounds pretty juicy. [Also, Haven has to be careful about outsiders investigating any of their weird stories. Last thing they want is to be locked up by lab rats by scientists interested in studying them. Not that this woman seems like a scientist, but... never judge a book by the admittedly very beautiful cover]

Weird weather patterns. Lots of unexplained disappearances, weird tectonic shifts. I'm surprised you guys don't wind up on those conspiracy theory websites.
