[So the good things about Chicago, aside from constantly missing the idiot boys in her life and her shop and her friends, is that she's befriended new boys to boss around, as well as finding a mechanic's shop that isn't as hesitant on hiring Wanderers under the table. Especially when that Wanderer can tell what's wrong with a car just by looking at it.

There were limitations, as in she had to be able to actually see the vehicle in order to see what's wrong with it, but at the end of the day, she's the best damn mechanic in Chicago because she's a) always right and therefore b) extremely reliable. The shop's business doubles and she's glad to at least still be valuable. Even if some mechanics say it's cheating.

Which means they keep sending cars her way, trying to trip her up. Connor, being a friend, doesn't disbelieve her as much as some, but he does have a habit of making bets he knows he's going to lose.]

I prefer to see my money up front.

[Teasing, because she can mostly. She knows he's probably good for it.]
