[Jeremy looks over at Cora when she approaches. He smirks lightly in answer to that critical look on her face. He forgets how weird this must all seem to someone who didn't grow up in Mystic Falls. As it is, it's nothing he likes either, and he's used to it.

Yeah. Basically. I try to avoid them whenever I can, and when I can't, I just... stick to the corners or find the first out I can. People tend not to notice.

I just ... don't get it. But that's probably because I was raised by wolves.

[He's made many a quick escape from these types of parties. His gaze drifts over all the people here, filling it up. His mother loved this stuff, and his father loved anything that made her happy. Jeremy doesn't feel that same attachment]

Hey, I was born and raised here, and I still don't get it. ...what was it like? Being raised by wolves, I mean.

I got to hang out in the woods a lot. That was pretty awesome. But our holiday stuff was a lot more ... intimate, I guess.
