[Alec is still learning his way around most Christmas traditions, but there are a few he's incredibly fond of right off the bat. One of those ... is mistletoe. Because he's an incorrigible brat.

So here he is, hanging out under a sprig of it, so casually like he doesn't even know it's there (but he totally does). Do not indulge him Elena, he's the worst.

of course, to indulge him she needs to actually realize there's a.) mistletoe and b.) that alec is hanging out directly under it. where's the fun in that, though? she walks past him with her brows furrowed, rummaging through a pile on the kitchen table. ] Have you seen my History book?
