It surprises him how genuine her response seems to be, but that's something to reflect on later. Instead he deepens the kiss, allowing one of his hands to tangle into her hair. He figures if it seems like they're preoccupied with one another and sneaking out for that reason no one else will suspect anything.

Yep, that's definitely a good plan. And she will lean into the kiss before starting to move slowly - not enough to break a kiss, but just enough to get them into one of the hidden alcoves in the corner where they'll be out of sight.

And he'll step with her into the darkness, slipping away past prying eyes.

Once they're out of view, she'll pull back and blink, a bit flustered. "Nice move."

"It was the best solution I could think of that quickly -- sorry, I should have given you more warning." But that might have made them not sell it as well. And he had kind of liked kissing her more than he expected

She shakes her head with a small smile. "No, not at all. I like a man who's quick on his feet."

[lockwood]

He smiles in return. "People call me a lot of things, quick isn't always one of them"

[enjoythe_ride]

"Well, tonight I think you earned it," she laughs, before glancing around the corner. "Let's get out of here."

[lockwood]

"Agreed."

And with that they will slip out of there, to talk about the whole kissing thing another day.
