[There are some days where Alexander thinks he probably should have stayed in Central City. Not that being a metahuman there was fun necessarily, but at least he wouldn't have to worry about drawing too much attention to himself. Star City is a bit more his speed, however, and he figures so long as he can keep his pyrotechnics to a minimum, he should be able to lay low enough to not get the attention of the Arrow.

Unfortunately for him, he can't resist showing off for a potential new boss.]

So have you ever seen a Flaming Lamborghini?

[There was something off about the new guy that had started working for her in Verdant. Something that she couldn't exactly put her finger on. He was different than the others that had come and gone. However, Thea was a bit paranoid when it came to people she barely knew. If only because she's been nearly killed before.]

No, I can't say that I have. So, why don't you show me.

[That gets a bright grin from him, and he'll work quickly in putting together a Flaming Lamborghini, stopping just before he lights the top of the tower of glasses, snifter in one hand and lighter in the other.]

[Honestly? Thea's not sure what to think just yet. She does, however, lean back a bit and watch him. Watch those glasses that were stacked upside down. Which was interesting in all of its glory on its own.

Seeing the lighter in one hand and snifter in the other, she gives a nod.]

As I'll ever be.

[He grins, and then easily lights the top of the tower. After that, he pours the liquid in the snifter and his tower of glasses turns into a tower of bright blue flames.]

[Thea watches as he lights the top of the tower, how the flames move over them. She can't help but smile.]

Oh, I have a whole big bag of tricks.

[He grins.]

Do you have an alcohol of choice?

[That intrigues her that much more.]

[He nods at that, and will pause to whip up a Siesta.]

[She is more than amused as she watches him. This guy had a lot of tricks up his sleeve and it was obvious that he was good.

She takes the drink and puts it to her lips, letting the scent hit her, then takes a drink of it.]

Oh, that's good. Where did you learn how to make all of this? Or does it just come natural for you?

[He gives a small shrug.]

My dad worked out of a bar when I was a kid. I picked up a few things.

[That definitely catches her attention.]

He worked out of a bar? This place here? It was my brother's baby before I took it over. He just didn't have time for it. You've definitely picked up quite a few things, that's for sure.

[He nods.]

My dad had a favorite place back in Chicago. I think he still uses their back room.

[She can't help but give a bit of a smile to that.]

As long as no one causes trouble I doubt they'll care.

See, that doesn't hold up, because my dad caused all kinds of trouble.

What kind of trouble did he cause?

The illegal kind.

[His father is a criminal. He's never denied before and he isn't about to start now.]

A lot of families seem to be getting into something like that.​

I mean, most of his stuff was victimless crimes. But that doesn't make them any less illegal.

Nothing makes anything less than illegal when it comes to crimes. I don't hold things like that against someone though.

No, that's true. The law is the law. But I didn't want you to think he was some kind of mass murdering criminal mastermind.

I'm more worried about you than I am your father.

[Though there's a lot she could say concerning fathers, especially who her own was.]

[He raises an eyebrow at that.]

Worried about me? I did fill out the "have you been convicted of a crime?" section honestly, Miss Queen.

Not in worried in the sense that you think. I know you filled it out honestly. Doesn't mean I can't be worried about my employees. Now does it?
