They had literally been through hell and back together. Something he couldn't say for anyone else he'd ever been with. Not that he'd ever been with anyone all that long. Oh, he'd dated Russians here and there, but no one ever caught his attention. Not until Olivia showed up in his life. Showed up and thrust him back in his father's life, as it were.

"So what is it that you're talking about again?" He asks with a bit of a chuckle, his mind obviously elsewhere.

My mom asked me if I was being satisfied, sexually. And then discussed positioning.

She glances up from the couch to him with a smirk, before shaking her head. "I knew you weren't paying attention." Which is why she may have finished the statement with something incredibly ridiculous. But good to know that he didn't hear it.

"Just the case. Nothing too important." She shifts as she turns to face him. "Where are you tonight?"

I'm glad you two have such an open relationship.

[Can you hear the sarcasm through the text? because there's a lot of it.]

Cora doesn't fit in with this pack.

She fits with Boyd and Erica, but she had three months of isolation with them to make her way in. But she and Derek lost six years because of the fire, and everyone else has all these connections and things to ground them together. Cora is just the extraneous piece, the person who is only there because she's Derek's sister, and she's starting to hate feeling like the odd girl out.

So after another spitting match with Scott about the state of Beacon Hills, Erica probably comes home to find Cora sitting on her bed after climbing through her window. Someone should probably teach her boundaries, but today is not that day.

[Malia knows that dating can be complicated. She's learned at least that much through her one girlfriend. It's complicated that Stiles was a girl, even though that's a dumb thing to be complicated about. It's complicated that Stiles used to supposedly be obsessed with Lydia, even though they both seem to be over that. Mostly, it was just complicated because Malia was still learning how to be a girl and not a coyote, but Malia doesn't know why that should have impacted things one way or another.

She followed all the ways a coyote would normally find a mate, and yet she's here, sitting alone in her bedroom, trying to figure out what it was she did wrong that Stiles would push her away. She had always told her that she wouldn't judge the bad things she's done. Apparently, Stiles didn't really listen.

Still, when her phone buzzes with a text from Stiles, claiming to miss her, Malia doesn't really know what to do with that information. All she can do is stare at her phone and try not to feel like the odd girl out.]

It isn't that she doesn't know it's dumb, because she is well aware at this point. She just knows that she doesn't have a whole lot of time to waste waiting for Hawley to show up and cover her ass. She's going to have words with him about his punctuality when she gets out of this, but for right now she just needs to find the artifact.

The flashlight whirls around as she makes her way through the catacombs, when she catches sight of a body out of the corner of her eye. Finger on the trigger, she turns on it to quickly take it out if she needs to, but when the flashlight beam lands on the face of the person in question, she immediately drops her arm.]

[There are some days where Alexander thinks he probably should have stayed in Central City. Not that being a metahuman there was fun necessarily, but at least he wouldn't have to worry about drawing too much attention to himself. Star City is a bit more his speed, however, and he figures so long as he can keep his pyrotechnics to a minimum, he should be able to lay low enough to not get the attention of the Arrow.

Unfortunately for him, he can't resist showing off for a potential new boss.]

[Stiles was... well, most would say complicated. Even though she knows that the pack, especially Malia, wouldn't judge on the things that had been done she'd still pushed. A part of her figuring that they were better off without her. Hell, she'd even thought of running away but her dad was the sheriff and he'd have her in cuffs in a heartbeat.

It feels like forever before she gets Malia's text. A text that feels like a punch to her gut. Though, in an odd way, she's sure that she deserved it.]

[There's a pause between texts and she feels like her heart is going to beat out of her chest.]

[Right. Now she's wrong.

Malia huffs for a moment as she tries to consider her answer, but she isn't really sure what to say. And she isn't sure that this is something where she has to say anything.]

[Jackson isn't necessarily the opening up type. At the same time, she knows that that isn't the kind of "open relationship" she means.]

[Sometimes she forgets that Malia was still learning more... human things. So she bites her bottom lip and shakes her head.]

[She doesn't want to think of Lydia having anything to do with her parents in any way, shape or form.]

He gives her a small smile and shakes his head slightly," Sorry." For not paying attention to what she was telling him. Especially after she mentioned the case. One they'd been working on for a few hours earlier that day.

[There was something off about the new guy that had started working for her in Verdant. Something that she couldn't exactly put her finger on. He was different than the others that had come and gone. However, Thea was a bit paranoid when it came to people she barely knew. If only because she's been nearly killed before.]

There's a deep breath at that as her mind carries her back to the memory, a small smile crossing her face as she does. "You mean how I blackmailed you back into your father's world." Because let's call it what it is, Peter.

[She's quiet again, trying to figure out whether or not that's what she wants, now that she's being given a choice. Part of her says yes, to do it and get back something that makes her happy. But at the same time, she doesn't want to be just pushed away again.]
