She shakes her head. "My brother's just being a dumbass. I decided that I didn't want to stay in the loft today." There's a small beat as she suddenly worries that she overstepped a line somewhere. "Is this not okay?"

Honestly? If Erica had to hurt Derek because he harmed Cora in anyway then she would. Even if it would probably end in herself being harmed. That didn't actually matter to her though.
