[When Sara turns twenty one, Tommy insists on the four of them going out for her birthday. He treats them all to way, way too many shots and pays for the car to drive them around for the evening, and by the end of the night, the Lance sisters are back in Sara's dorm with a buzzy feeling and a pile of Chinese food.]

Are you feeling okay? You didn't have too much, did you?

[Tommy was one of those guys who wanted to please everyone. Or just please Oliver. Sara's not quite sure which one. Which is kind of funny to her, for some reason. But it's her birthday and she's enjoying herself. Her sister is with her and that makes it that much better. The drinks, however, well... those were just an added bonus.

When they do get back to her dorm, she plops back on her bed giving her sister the widest grin. Probably the happiest that Laurel's ever seen her. It could be the alcohol or it could be the fact that Tommy and Oliver were with them the whole night. She's not decided which.]

I'm good. Aren't you? Did you have too much?

[It doesn't really answer her sister's question, however. Hell, it was possible that she'd had too much. They had food though so she was definitely content. Or as content as a tipsy, bordering on drunk twenty one year could be.]

[She shakes her head. She didn't drink too much because she had spent most of her time making sure that Sara wasn't going to make herself too sick, but she still had just enough to get pleasantly buzzy.]

No, I'm good. It's your birthday. I just wanted to make sure you had a good night.
