She came to Jane for her expertise, to see if her knowledge about the space between stars could be applied to a much smaller space, if that could help them find her mother somehow. She didn't come here to weigh in on Jane's personal life, or inquire if that phone call was related to a tall, broad, blond Avenger that hasn't been seen around Earth lately.

[It's all relief in Jane's tone, her expression.
