And, I mean, there's always a chance that they've been misrepresented. We've found that happens a lot too.

That doesn't surprise me either -- a lot of time what's been written and what's true can be two very different things.

[She nods, before gesturing to all the books they have at their disposal. She doesn't think she has to elaborate on what to do with the books, so she brings up another topic of conversation instead.]

So how did you and Constantine meet anyway?

I was trying to kill a God -- he came up as a potential resource for that kind of information.

[Her eyebrows go up a bit at that, because what?]

They can -- but it comes with consequences. We got magic shut off for a while when we killed one.

[Not that she's gunning to kill any gods anytime soon, but it's good to know that it might not be the wisest choice.]

Never actually met one. Did take down a time demon once though.

You're not missing much -- they're pretty much all assholes -- though I guess Bacchus was pretty okay. The worst thing he ever did really was get banned off Instagram for showing his nipples.
