[Crash's Non-Denominational Winter Holiday Extravaganza is complete with all kinds of corners, including a place labeled Consentual Mistletoe. More specifically charmed to give a little shock to anyone who tries to force the issue, it's for whoever wants to make out to do so in an appropriate Christmas fashion.

That being said, Alexander doesn't think that Jackson would object to his plans. He's a few drinks in and enjoying the ambiance and festive cheer. Things can be serious a lot of the time, but he always enjoys taking moments like this to relax. He tugs his boyfriend in the direction of the holiday decor. The place itself is metallic fake tree attached to the wall, with mistletoe hanging from the branches overhead. Alexander backs up until his back hits the tree and he grins.]

Oh whoops. Looks like I'm under the mistletoe.

( Jackson doesn't 'let loose' under any definition. He holds it together 'just so,' but he likes a good time as much as anyone. It's no London Opera, but nothing compares to high art in Baltimore. He doesn't need high art tonight, he had a phone call with his dad, a catch-up with Lydia and now he has a party to attend with his boyfriend.

He likes that there was never any pomp or circumstance when it came to what he and Alexander are. Jackson joined up and they just were, no questions asked. It helps to not have to worry that his off the grid boyfriend has no time for anyone else off the grid, but he's never been possessive. Just churlish.

He lets himself be tugged away from the conversation at hand. Crash, he doesn't need to hear about Sinterklass - or how similar Sinterklaas is to Baba Yaga or how they may be one in the same considering we're all under one God... please tug him away. )

Funny how that happens. Almost like you designed it that way.

[He continues to pull him closer, hands coming to rest on his hips.]

But this mistletoe does require consent, so if you don't want to be trapped here, you're free to go.

( He'd rather be trapped here with Alexander than be trapped in a conversation with anyone, including McCall's mom and Allison's dad. His hands come to Alexander's hips, pulling him closer. )

( The problem will be just when will Jackson let him out of his grip. He's been 'nefariously' lured under honest pretenses, and now according to societal traditions, he gets to kiss. )

What do you mean, requires? Do you enchant the mistletoe here?
