[ Well, Stefan will go up to her, make a quip, order a drink and take her to bed with him. No, wait, that would be Damon and Damon probably wouldn't seal the deal. Besides, he's not speaking to his brother right now. And he's pretty much hating the world. Quietly, as he does. So, blowing off steam it is.

He'll reach the bar next to the chair next to her and order something. He misses his own liquor. Sheriff Forbes doesn't have great liquor.

He will also glance down at the tow of tequila shots. ]

Is a friend joining you?

[She glances back at him with a smirk.]

That's what I'm hoping.

[even if she makes a new one, it's still a friend. So it definitely counts.]

If not, it's pretty lucky that I love tequila.

I passed through Toronto once. [ in the seventies. or, was it eighties. it was during his harvard days. but, no reason to go there. ]

I've been there a few times. We're close by, but we're still enough of a city in our own right.
