[He sees her watching. And it's really a look he's used to. Amazing how many people give him that glare. He could glare back, or burst across the room and rip her heart out before she has time to draw breath, or see if she's not a little nicer with a bit of compulsion involved.

But she's probably eaten some vervain or something, and it would probably piss her friends off if he killed her, so instead he goes for charming. He gives her a smile and winks as though she weren't trying to stake him with her eyes. He hopes it'll annoy her even more.]

[Mission accomplished. She pastes a thin smile on her face before tipping her head to the side.]

Can I get you anything? Stake? Coffee laced with a little vervain?

Well, I would like a drink now that you mention it. Think you could oblige me?

[She grits her teeth before pointing towards the coffee maker.]

[He keeps smiling at her.] Actually, I was thinking of something stronger.

[He means bourbon. But he sure isn't in a hurry to make that clear.]
