[Zoe isn't sure why she's been called to Mystic Falls of all places, but given that there seems to be a lot of witchy ju-ju going down lately, she probably shouldn't be surprised. Blend in, be a normal student -- shouldn't be too hard.

She makes her way into the Junior history class and slides into one of the seats in the back. Hopefully this isn't one of those schools where they make you get up and tell your life story if you're new.]

[ Even though Zoe doesn't fit his normal female bill (brunette or a ton of issues) something about Zoe catches Jeremy's eye. He watches her move back to her seat and sit right behind him. Well, he doesn't look behind, he just - watches her walk until she passes him.

When the teacher turns around to do something, so does Jeremy. ]

You're new?

[She smiles a bit when he turns. She can't help it, he's kind of cute. But when he asks the inevitable question, her face falls a bit.]

Jeremy. [ he offers a quick hand. ] I can't relate. I grew up here. Talk about unfortunate. Need a tour guide?

[She'll reach over and shakes it.]

Tour guide would be good. It'd help me get the feel of the place.

Not that hard to get the feel of. But, I won't deny you a tour guide. What's your next class?

Mine, too. The class is boring but the teacher's pretty cool.

I'm just not interested. I love nature, but I don't want to know that much about it, you know?

You mean there are actually waterfalls here?

There are. There's a bonfire there tonight, actually. Beginning of the school year party. Kicks off every ... school year. [ so suave. ] You wanna go? With a complete stranger you just met inviting you to a waterfall?

Let's just stick to navigating the school first. Then we'll see about strangers and bodies of water.

Yeah. 'Course.

[ he'll turn back around and pay attention to class, now, he swears. but after it's over...he'll turn back around after collecting his things. ]

[Zoe goes back to taking notes, and when the bell rings, she'll get to her feet, gathering her books. She's going to need to make a locker pit stop eventually, but for now she can handle it.]

Where to, Mr. Tour Guide?

We've mostly stayed in cities -- we being me and my dad.

Depends if he can find any work, I guess. He's been having a rough go of it lately.

[the thing about her dad is that he's kind of a major douchebag so he'd probably deserve it.]
