It's pretty simple. This post is open. You can tag it with someone with a request or to be surprised, prompts optional (though if you leave it up to me it will probably be ridiculous), and let's have some fun. Muselist is HERE.
Have fun my dears.

And that fidgeting? Yeah, that wasn't her faking any more. She was feeling the genuine need, now, to put some distance between herself and the police.
Angus was going to be back.

Why were civilians so stubborn when you were trying to save their lives?
"I can find my way back," she said. "It's all right. Thanks, though."
no subject
"I'd feel more comfortable walking you back." Once she's in the safety of her own home she should be fine. Gloria just had to get her there.
no subject
Not literally, of course. That would be gross.
Fatima just knew, without knowing how she knew, that he was there. Close. Extremely close. And moving.
There was no more time for role playing. "Get down!" Fatima shouted suddenly, shoving the cop lady to one side as something came flying at them.
no subject
"What the hell?"
no subject
She moved forward slowly, gesturing behind her back for the cop lady to keep quiet. Even if it was a big, old Masquerade breach, there was still hope to smooth this over. Maybe the cop would ask Fatima for her parents' number or something. She could call Liam over and he could just erase the whole night.
But that was assuming they lived through it.

Her temper is getting the better of her, and her eyes flash gold for a brief moment before she mutters. "Come on. Where are you?"
no subject
Fatima turned to look over her shoulder, to shush the cop lady again. And that was when she saw the eyes.
"What the...?"
no subject
"Duck!"
You have about two seconds before she starts firing.

He'd have to be questioned.
"Aim for the face!" she hissed at the cop. Bullets wouldn't kill him, but enough shots to the face would be ample distraction. At least enough for her to get the stake into this guy.

Or rather, put her blood to it.
She concentrated for a moment, remembering exactly how Liam taught her. Focus your mind on your skin. Imagine it turning hard. Like diamonds. Let your mind see it in your head.
She saw it and she was off, lunging forward and grabbing the vampire around the knees with a grunt. Fatima was small, but with the element of surprise, not to mention the momentum of bullets, on her side, she knocked the undead fuck off of his feet.

She exhaled slowly as she heard the final click before glancing over at the girl.
"You alright?"
no subject
But some things were more important than protecting dead people.
Like pretending other people from becoming dead people.
So Fatima grabbed her stake, gritted her teeth, and with a regretful, "Sorry," to the police woman, plunged it into the vampire's chest.
no subject
"We need to get you and the body out of here."
no subject
Fatima wondered if she was wrong. Did this one work for Liam? She really, really thought she would have remembered someone who looked like that. Or someone with glowing, yellowy eyes.
Well, time for an adventure, she guessed. "Yeah," she said, standing up and dusting off her jeans. "We do."
no subject
Because that was going to make getting the vampire out of here a little bit complicated.
no subject
She nodded her head down the street. Just out of the shadows was a compact hybrid. Part of Abel's efforts to make the Order green or something. Fatima didn't really care, as long as it had four wheels and a trunk.
Which it did. Obviously.

"He's not blue."
no subject
"Blue?" Fatima repeated, not sure if this was some kind of cop code or...what.
no subject
Oh God, is she helping cover up a murder? She shot the guy in the face, is she trying to cover it up? He smelled like a vampire. This isn't right.
no subject
"Dude, I have never seen a blue Cainite before," she said. "And he's not dead. Just staked. Make sure that thing doesn't come out, got it?"
no subject
Gloria is going to punch Bess in the face if she has been feeding her wrong information.
no subject
She paused. "Dracula was a real guy, though. For the record. He lived in Vegas up until a few years ago."
The lock clicked open and Fatima frowned a little, trying to figure out how to get the trunk open without dumping Angus' minion.
