Stalling what? Lois Lane is way out of my league.

[she makes her way closer, hooking her arm in his.]

You are an awesome, amazing guy. Any girl would be lucky to have you including Lois Lane.

But she's so... [ Searching for way to describe her. There is really only one way. ] ...Lois, and I'm... [ A no good mess of a man? It's what he'd say if he wasn't afraid she's smack him in the head. ]

And you are a smart, kind, awesome guy. You are Stefan and she is Lois, and how do you know things won't work if you won't even try.

There's an answer to this that is as pessimistic as he is.

[ He doesn't have an answer. So he won't actually give one. ]

How can you be so optimistic?

[ Here comes the big sigh of defeat. ]

I hope you're right. [ But he won't believe it until it doesn't happen. ]

[ He's just going to muppet-face. Because he obviously can't get out of this. ]

[ And nodding in defeat. ]

[and she flashes a smile and a "see you later" at Sam before dragging him out the door.]

[ The look Stefan gives Sam is more like "save me", but he knows there's not a thing he can do to get out of this. And so he is dragged, because his girl friend (two words) thinks he needs to get over himself. ]

[Nope. No saving from Sam. In fact, he looks far too amused with himself.

Caroline, on the other hand, is just going to continue to drag him to your car.]

[ He sees you, Sam. Revenge will be had. (Though he's got no idea how.)

And Stefan continues to be dragged. ]
