We've been tracking him since San Francisco. It was a little personal.

[attainathons]

Did he kill someone close to you? [ incredulousness. ] You followed him down the coast? Do you realize he led you to vamp central?

[hasperkynipples]

We didn't want to be here, alright? We just wanted the vamp. We finish what we start.

[attainathons]

[ Or she finishes what you start. ]

If I'd known he was spoken for I'd have let him choke you to death. [ so, she's sassy tonight. ] Where's your brother, anyway?

[hasperkynipples]

[A look.]

I had it handled.

[That's what Dean would like to know. He glances around before frowning -- it's not like Sam's hard to miss.]

Don't know. Guess he got sidetracked.

[attainathons]

There's still a guest late to the party. [ considering his vampire came from out of state ] Sidetracked is my best bet. . [ and if Sam handles vampires as good as Dean... ] See a Nicholas Mulberry anywhere? [ on the headstones ]

[hasperkynipples]

[Dean frowns, and is about to say something when Sam comes up behind him, covered in dust and looking annoyed.

"I found him."

Dean doesn't even turn around, just grins.]

See? Now we're even.

Let me guess, Sam.

[ a smile. ]

Did you use a machete like your brother, here?

[ okay, she's done mocking. ]

And thanks. One less vamp we need to worry about. [ unlike Dean, she's not about to squabble. a dead vampire is a dead vampire. ]

[hasperkynipples]

[Sam just gives her a look like "Yeah. What else am I going to use?" Winchester boys like their sharp implements.

Dean shrugs.]

Then we will get out of your hair.

Anything else. Anything wooden. A branch. Have you tried a stake?

[ a shake of the head. ]

You're not in my hair. It's just not every night two guys come in trying to save the day. The slayer implies one girl. The solitary patrolling comes with the territory.

[hasperkynipples]

Doesn't always work on all vampires, sweetheart. Some of 'em keep kicking.

[he shrugs]

Yeah, well -- we got other things to deal with. Rest of the world's got problems too.

[attainathons]

Yep. Some are older. Just means you need to get something bigger.

[ no, she hasn't met the ubervamp yet. ]

Well, when the rest of the world thanks me for saving the rest of the world, I'll get on that. [ She's just not feeling nice tonight. ] Ever hear of a Hellmouth? An ascension? Heck, a friend of mine almost single-handedly... [ Yeah, wait ] She's better now.

[hasperkynipples]

[rolls his eyes]

You really think this is the only Hellmouth in the world?

[attainathons]

Nope. But, this is mine. [ she makes a face. ] I can't believe I'm taking credit for a Hellmouth.

[hasperkynipples]

I think you need to get out more.

[attainathons]

You and me both.

So, what's your deal. You guys just travel around the country? Hunting things?

[hasperkynipples]

Pretty much.

[attainathons]

You never stay in one place?

[hasperkynipples]

Nope. Too much work to do.

[attainathons]

Someday, I could see us leaving. But, Sunnydale's my home. [ Weird to say when she'd been deadset on L.A. But, Sunnydale and the friends she met - they're her home. So, yes, she could leave. But, the impending threat. ] That's also not the extent of what we're dealing with. Vamps are a dime a dozen here.

We don't only hunt vamps either. We usually wind up with demons more often than not.
