It won't be that bad. Maybe he'll even let you help out with the cons every once in a while.

Do you think so? I'd be quite good at it. I have a lot of experience.

I think we can talk him into the idea. So long as it was for the good of the case.

[and if not, they could always do it in their off time.]

If we get the bad guy, I don't really think it matters how.

Peter doesn't always see it that way, though.

How does he see it?

He wants to do things by the book. Otherwise I think he feels like he's as bad as the criminals.

I suppose that makes sense. For some people it's important to have that distinction.

I don't see the point. So much of it is a con. Even the testifying is a con.

Exactly. Might as well play to win.

But Peter is Peter and since he's the one with the badge we kind of have to do it his way.
