I really wanted shippy things and didn't feel like combing through memes. So I made a post! Comment to this post with your characters, who you want and an option from the list below, and I will start a thread. Shenanigans will ensue.
OPTIONS:
1 - Fluff
2 - Angst
3 - Crack
4 - Surprise Me!
IF YOU CHOOSE SURPRISE ME, it will probably be crack. Because I'm in that sort of mood.
Muselist is HERE and it's not completely updated, but I'm going to try and do that tonight. You may select SURPRISE for what character you want, but if you do it will likely be a crossover ship of my choosing. I don't really do M/M slash, but M/F and F/F are both fair game. Annnnnnnd that's it.
... Go, fight, win!

i don't really write him much but.
It's werewolf country. At least that means no vampires.
(Except for, you know, Tyler. Sort of.)
Regardless, when they get there they find out that the thing that dragged them there is the Nematon, which is kind of like a giant supernatural homing beacon, and Matt has a feeling that it's not long before their relatively vampire-free existence turns into something a lot more dangerous, but Matt is also easily distracted and that distraction comes in the form of Allison Argent.
Repeatedly.
Eventually in several different positions.
(Matt just generally tries to avoid Scott, despite the fact that he's become Tyler's alpha even though "He's not in the pack."
He's totally in the pack.)
Regardless of the inherent Scott issues, Matt likes Allison. She's smart and sharp and funny and badass in ways that he can't even explain, and just being around her is a tunnel vision he hasn't really felt since Elena. Being with her is awesome. The only problem with it is that they haven't really ... defined it.
Not that things like this need definition, they can just be what they are and labels only really matter to other people, but Matt's had so little, and his life has existed in such shades of gray in the mess that is Mystic Falls, there's a part of him that does need it.
So he takes the opportunity when he sees it. The fact that that opportunity happens to come when they're both sitting with their backs planted against one of the trees in the preserve, a few hundred feet off the ground and in a harpy's nest is irrelevant.]
So.
Can I talk to you about something?
[Matt, you really need to work on your timing.]

Except her dad really likes him. They talk guns and sports and maybe that's what they needed after all the loss, just a small slice of normal at the end of five courses of unnatural, but it's a bit of pressure.
Matt doesn't pressure her though. They enjoy their time together and she shows him as much as she can think to, because one day, when his friend Tyler gets too hurt or when something back in Mystic Falls is too important for them to miss out on, they'll leave and she'll be -- and he'll need to fight better. She won't let him go back unprepared.
It hadn't taken them long to reach the high vantage point and as she inspects her arrows, fingertip pressing against a scratch that she's not sure is a split or just a hairline in the material, she makes a sound of positive affirmation. Her eyeline shifts to glance to him with a smile.]
Sure, what's up?
no subject
Which is good. Because he's dead.
All the same, he knows that Elena's dad liked him to, and he and Elena didn't work for numerous reasons he has yet to really understand. He gets now that they're better friends, and Elena Gilbert's love life is something he's better off not touching with a ten foot pole. But things with Allison feel different, which is why trying to figure out exactly what they are right now is important.
He doesn't want to pressure her. He isn't looking to pressure her. He just needs to know where they stand and what she wants before they get way in over their heads and the vampires he's running from finally catch up with him.]
Are we ... would you call this thing, with us ... dating?
no subject
She starts and stops a reply a few times before she glances to her foothold and then back to him.]
Would it be an issue if it wasn't? [She knows that's not the right way to phrase that at all, but she can't help but focus on the situation in reverse.]
no subject
No. No, it's fine, I'm just ... I don't know.
[He shifts his eyes away from her for a moment. How is he always so bad at girls. He likes girls a lot, he shouldn't suck so much at this.]
Forget I said anything.
no subject
Maybe I won't forget you said anything. I just -- the last few relationships I've had, they weren't exactly the best examples of what to do.
no subject
Two of my last three girlfriends have been vampires, and my first girlfriend left me, and then started dating a vampire. I don't think any relationship I've ever had has been what you should do.
[So ... he's not really one to judge. At all.]
no subject
[Standing up a bit straighter, she looks at Matt again.]
Do you want this to be us dating?
no subject
Maybe. I never really know what I want on a good day, but I like this. I like us, whatever it is.
[He swallows a bit.]
So if you want more than that, I'd be okay with it. But if this is all it's going to be, I'm cool with that too. I just want to know where the line is.
no subject
I don't know what I want this to be, but I do like this too. [Her head cants to the side.]
Can we just... keep going at it like this and whenever we get to a spot that feels too far over the line we just say something?
no subject
Yeah. That sounds good.

Obviously, there's potential.]
no subject
Maybe we shouldn't be doing this in a tree.
