[She laughs as she works Nik into what essentially amounts to a big poofy snow suit, but it's also Northface, so ... somewhat stylish. But it'll keep him warm while they walk. And she will then follow suit with her own coat and scarf before scooping him up again.]

I think he would prefer we went with comfort over style, personally.

[ kol walks backwards to the door, wrapping his scarf so loosely around his neck that he might as well not bring it along. wrinkling his nose, ] Are you sure?

[ he doesn't allow her a second to get in front of him. he unlocks the door and waits until she's closer to open it. with a grin and a sweep of his hand, ] Age before beauty.

[She shakes her head as she makes her way past him, Nik resting like a heavy weight against her chest. It's a good weight, though, and soon they're out in the swirling cold, fat snowflakes drifting down like tiny sprinkles of glitter in the sky. She takes a deep breath of the cold air, and smiles.]

Nights like this remind me of Norway sometimes.
