I mostly lean towards M/F and F/F, and all my OCs are bi. My muselist hasn't been updated in over a year, but it's mostly accurate! If you have any questions, hit me up on plurk or discord. Wheee.
Derek
au where allison didn't die but subsequent seasons still happened
After Monroe, after she runs from Beacon Hills and starts spreading the word about her revolution, no one from the pack is allowed to go out alone - and that includes Derek and Allison. And sometimes, it meant the buddies were Derek and Allison.
They started as temporary buddies, then moved on to partners, then moved on to partners and while neither of them are really sure how they got here, Derek certainly isn't complaining. Though he may complain a little when Allison's plan goes off the rails.
He grabs her by the waist, tucking them both behind the nearest wall and shaking his head.]
You had to run towards the trouble.

She's not sure what led to her and Derek being buddies. Maybe it was a werewolf to human ratio thing. Her father had noticed it before she had. Why wouldn't he? She'd been with werewolves before. Scott. Isaac. Now Derek. Though she's not sure how they ended up partners. Buddies... that happened, sure. It was meant to only be temporary but it changed somewhere down the line.
Unlike most girls she doesn't yelp when he grabs her waist and tucks them behind the nearest wall. Doesn't even so much as make a sound, just gives him a look trying not to smile.]
I'm an Argent. When don't I run towards the trouble, Derek?
no subject
[If she's running towards a person, at least he doesn't have to worry about them cutting her down from a distance. Plus, there are too many to really avoid them all, as evidenced by the sound of lead cutting into concrete behind them.]
We're going to need another way out of here.
no subject
[No one wanted her to die, after all. She didn't want to die. They'd come far too close to that way before today. She keeps herself pressed against the wall listening to the sounds around them. It's not that she was a werewolf, she wasn't. Didn't mean she wasn't someone who knew what to look out for. Someone who knew how to do their job.]
We might have to wait it out a moment unless you hear something I don't.

Freya

"Take her away. Far away. And don't come back until she's had something close to fun."
She is a Mikaelson, so Hayley is aware it's a high goal to achieve, but by the time Freya awakes, she's in the passenger seat of Stefan's car, and she peers out the window, confused for a moment, before glancing back to the driver.]
Have I been kidnapped?
no subject
[ Stefan laughs, giving her a cheeky smile before he reaches over for his phone and turns down the radio. Hayley's orders had been orders, and Stefan didn't think twice about following up on them.
Freya had told him that he could trust her, and now, he wanted to repay the favor. Take her on a long, meandering road trip down to the sea and experience the beach for all it was worth. Maybe practice some water magic, if she got too into the magical community in their little seaside haven...
But fun under the sun was the name of their game, and Stefan was more than keen on achieving it. He slides his sunglasses up, handing over his phone - and in turn, his playlist. ]
Think of it more like... oh, I don't know, an extended vacation with your favorite student.

Her head tips to the side curiously, before making her way closer.]
I didn't think I'd see you again.

Well, I was told this is the best bar around.

Well, that is very true. Doesn't get better than the Dal, but I may be a little biased.
[Or more than a little biased.]
laurel
because i'm gonna be watching winter soldier this week
She agreed to not use her phone. She didn't say anything about staying off the Arrow comms that the agents didn't know existed.
She excuses herself to the bathroom to take a shower, turns on the water to muffle her voice. Felicity then fills her in, everything that's happening, HYDRA, Natasha's info dump, all of it, and Laurel stares at the door before she makes a decision.
"Overwatch, I'm gonna need an exit."
"Yeah, I thought you'd say that. Arrow and Arsenal are on their way."
It's easy to take someone by surprise when they don't expect much of you. They thought they were just holding a random lawyer, not the Black Canary, and between her catching them by surprise and Roy and Oliver's timely arrival, they were able to evacuate her from her apartment as quickly as possible, before taking her to the bunker for safe keeping. There, she was able to see for herself, the Triskellion falling, and her heart sinking, knowing with a high likelihood that Steve was inside.
She's taken one of Oliver's burner phones, constantly hitting send and then redial, hoping that one of those times, she'll get his actual voice, rather than his voicemail, but no luck yet.
Oliver makes his way closer, placing a hand on her shoulder gently. "He'll call, Laurel. Maybe you should get some sleep."
"I'll be fine." She sighs, rubbing her forehead as she places the phone down for a moment. "I just need to hear from him."
She hopes it will be very, very soon.
no subject
Laurel has lost too many people. He can't make her wait and wonder if she's lost another one. After some begging, Sam brings him his phone, plugs in his headset, and gives Steve privacy as he calls back the burner number he suspects must be hers. He realizes by now Natasha probably updated her, but he needs to do this. He's confident she's alright, but that doesn't mean he is without concern at all.
"Hey." He sounds drowsy and out of it, but he's alive. That's the best any of them can hope for.
no subject
Her voice is soft and full of relief, just knowing that he's alive is a step up on what she had previously. She's still worried, and will be until he's standing in front of her. But for right now, she'll settle for this.
"Are you okay?"

ava.

Her friendship with Alek has cemented that much, allowing her to adapt to something she probably wouldn't have had to understand otherwise. More importantly, she knows how her abilities as a Glaysa interact with wolves - and some of those instances have been more terrifying than others. But in this particular moment, what she knows is more of a comfort than a deterrent.
Thing #1: While her abilities can't manipulate animals, she can recognize the emotional map of a shapeshifter she knows well.
Thing #2: Connor is in these woods somewhere. She just has to find him.
She has a backpack of clothes on her back, and is moving as quietly as she can, not wanting to draw the attention of anything else that might have come through with him. The landing had been rough, and there are black smears on her clothes from where her hands had been cut up, but otherwise she's fine.
Let's just hope that blood doesn't draw whatever's out here.]
Connor.
[The whisper is soft and insistent, not wanting to make more noise than she needs to.]
It's me! Please tell me you're here and I'm not just wandering around like a dumbass.

it more or less keeps all the indecent bits concealed. )
Over here.
( shifting is still a graceless process, and no matter how many times he's done it, he never entirely gets used to the brutal snapping and twisting of his bones as they change shape. what he is getting used to, however? traveling the entire multiverse with what used to be alek's best friend.
somehow, impossibly, this plucky girl has become his own best friend. he can't imagine his life without the constancy of ava. their personalities are still as different as he once thought, but they are also complementary in ways he had not been prepared for. he misses his brothers every day, but ava's not the worst company in the world ok. )
You okay? The landing was rougher than usual. ( and for all of the abilities he does possess, glasya-like powers is not one of them. if she isn't okay, he has no way of knowing, and that in itself is something that scares him a little. )
no subject
That being said, she's glad they're developing more of a rapport all the same. Given how much she loves Alek, she knows how important his family is to him. Getting along with all of them better, including Connor, has always been one of the end goals.
Actually being close with Connor wasn't necessarily on the agenda, but she's not complaining there either.]
Just a few scrapes. Nothing to worry about.
[She shifts off the backpack and passes him over the bag so that he can get dressed.]

It's probably healthy for him, to let her go for a while, and not think about the things he'd broken. Things he always regretted not fixing, if he's completely honest with himself, but at the same time something he isn't really sure he could. That's what happens when you play fast and loose with mortal lives.
Mortal lives are always much more fragile than he remembers them being, and she has every right to be angry with him.
But she appears again, years after the fact, at a party in Delphi, and it's like his been struck in the center of his chest, the wind knocked out of him just for a moment. He almost doesn't know if he should approach her, but part of him thinks that maybe that's what she wants. She knew where she was going, after all.
So he grabs a glass, makes his way closer, and tries not to get his hopes up.]
Hello, Elena.
no subject
it has been — a very long time since she was last in delphi, but the idea of elena attending events hosted by gods is not an unfamiliar one. as an experiment, teleios did not prove whatever the two set out to prove about good and evil. but it did prove that mortals are far more clever and resourceful than they are likely given credit for. they have their own realms, and elena is a key diplomatic envoy. it became obvious to anyone who knew her that she had a knack for statesmanship.
and so she helps keep the peace between those who were once indebted and the rest of the gods that once ruled over them, protecting those she calls her own. her life is like something out of a very bizarre dream: she plays chess with hades. when she visits jeremy in asgard, she is honored in the feasts by the vikings who believe she helped restore asgard to its former glory. she is called to the fields of fólkvangr when the goddess of love herself requests her attendance.
elena doesn't go on missions much, not anymore, but she would be lying if she said she didn't miss those.
the only missing piece was ... this.
she thought it would be harder to see him again, but the small smile she greets him with is sincere as she turns to face him, the skirts of her gown billowing out at her waist. ) Hello, Apollo. I see you still know how to throw a party.
no subject
[It just comes with his natural flair. He leans back against the bar for a moment, just taking her in after not seeing her in so long, but he's heard things. His uncle is very quick to rub it in that he's in better standing with her than Apollo is.
But Hades is a dick.
He pauses, then lifts the glass to his lips.]
You look amazing.
