What were you thinking of bringing weapons wise?

My bow and arrows, a few daggers, and probably the tazer, electricity is a good way to weaken them.

So tazer to slow them down, then bows and arrows to do the damage.

Sounds like a pretty solid plan. I'll drive.

Did you bring a car with you, or should I grab my keys?

I rented one at the airport.

[he fishes the keys out of his pocket before nodding.]

[She picks up her bow, slinging the arrows over her shoulders.]

[He nods, before leading the way out to the car. He hits the button on the key chain to unlock the door before sliding into the driver's seat.]

[She slides into the car, giving him the directions to where they needed to go.]

[he drives mostly in silence, taking in everything as he went.]

[Allison stays silent, keeping her eyes vigilant as she looks out the window, her stance stiff.]

[Eventually they pull up to the Hale house, and Stefan frowns at the state of it.]

He lives here?

[transferee]

Yep. It used to be nicer, from what I understand.

[somanyadjectives]

He hasn't tried to rebuild it at all?

[transferee]

I guess not. I think he likes living with the guilt.

[somanyadjectives]

[oh, does Stefan know how that goes.]

What happened here?

[transferee]

His family was murdered in a fire. [She pauses before adding.] One my Aunt Kate started

[He pauses, glancing over at her.]

And now you're hunting him?

[transferee]

He killed my mother. [It's different. What Kate did -- it was out of line, she gets that but her mother is dead. Derek bit her and she's dead and she can't just not do something about it. It hurts too much not to do something.]

[somanyadjectives]

[Stefan watches her for a moment before nodding.]

Okay. Let's see if he's home.

[transferee]

[She nods, opening the door to get open.]

[somanyadjectives]

[Stefan climbs out of the car as well, keeping his eyes and ears open for anything suspicious.]
