No, but I know Klaus. And I bet he's got more than a few under his belt. He killed the first group of the Five. All of them.

And I'm sure they were very scary. But they're not Buffy Summers.

No, they're not. But Klaus will kill her all the same.

[bigbad]

[Spike shrugs.] On a scale of your average easily staked normal vampire to hellgod, where would you put his strength?

Not quite hellgod. But close enough. He's unkillable.

[bigbad]

You mean he hasn't been killed yet. Not the same thing.

[she flashes him a look.]

Stakes won't kill him. He's part werewolf, so you can't dagger him like you would most of the Original family. Sunlight is mildly unpleasant but he'll get over it. You can't set him on fire.

What conclusion would you draw?

[Spike shrugs.] Anyone try decapitating him?

Yeah. They had their hearts ripped out.

[bigbad]

Before or after they got his head off?

[withnoheart]

Before. They didn't get close enough for there to be an after.

[bigbad]

So that's still a possibility. I'm guessing ripping out his heart'd work too? Most things need a head and a heart to survive.

Sure. You could try, but you'd be dead before you could get there.

You're really not comprehending this "Vampire Slayer" concept, are you? I don't care how much of a badass he is. She can take him.

Fine. Go ahead. Tell her to have a ball. But what you don't seem to remember is that Slayers die. It's built in to the gig.

I know. [His voice doesn't quite waver, though it does get quieter.] Better than most.

But it'll take more than a superpowered bully to put her down.

Guess we'll have to wait until they meet up to see what happens.

She's a bit biased against vampires. [Not that Spike blames her. He just wishes she acknowledged Spike's different.]

[She can't deny that kind of leverage. She pauses, considering for a moment, before shrugging.]

I know a witch who can do it for you. No bet needed.
