Really? The Slayer? Do you have any survival instinct at all?

Last I checked, survival instinct doesn't have a thing to do with who you fall for. [And her ability to kill him on a whim is part of what attracted him to her.

...no, he does not have any survival instinct at all. We're all amazed he's not dust.]

Maybe not. But it does effect how you deal with it.

[He smirks a little.] Doubt you'd think much of my methods.

Probably not, considering she still isn't dead yet.

[She scoffs.]

You used to have such the reputation.

[He turns towards her, eyes glinting dangerously.]

Still have a reputation, pet. And if you try and harm her, you'll find out why.

Oh? Do enlighten us. [He tilts his head, eyeing her.] Who's the real threat?

Klaus. Name ring a bell?

Never heard of him.

[withnoheart]

He's an Original. And a hybrid. Meaning he's very, very hard to kill and can probably snap your Slayer in half like she's a toothpick.

[bigbad]

You don't know my Slayer very well.

[withnoheart]

No, but I know Klaus. And I bet he's got more than a few under his belt. He killed the first group of the Five. All of them.

[bigbad]

And I'm sure they were very scary. But they're not Buffy Summers.

[withnoheart]

No, they're not. But Klaus will kill her all the same.

[bigbad]

[Spike shrugs.] On a scale of your average easily staked normal vampire to hellgod, where would you put his strength?

[withnoheart]

Not quite hellgod. But close enough. He's unkillable.

[bigbad]

You mean he hasn't been killed yet. Not the same thing.

[withnoheart]

[she flashes him a look.]

Stakes won't kill him. He's part werewolf, so you can't dagger him like you would most of the Original family. Sunlight is mildly unpleasant but he'll get over it. You can't set him on fire.

What conclusion would you draw?

[Spike shrugs.] Anyone try decapitating him?

Yeah. They had their hearts ripped out.

[bigbad]

Before or after they got his head off?

[withnoheart]

Before. They didn't get close enough for there to be an after.

[bigbad]

So that's still a possibility. I'm guessing ripping out his heart'd work too? Most things need a head and a heart to survive.
